The work of the Shippensburg Historical Society is made possible by the generous support and participation of our members and friends. Membership is open to all who would like to support the continued work of the Shippensburg Historical Society in collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of the Shippensburg area. Please join today and help us continue to serve the Shippensburg community and all those who appreciate Shippensburg history.
Membership Privileges
Members of the Shippensburg Historical Society receive the following privileges:
- Free, unlimited admission to the Stewart House and use of the Historical Society library and archival collections for you and your guests
- Discounts on photocopies made at the Historical Society library
- A year's subscription to the Historical Society's newsletter
- Opportunities to volunteer at the Stewart House and at Historical Society events
- Invitations to special "Members Only" receptions, functions and programs, including the Society's dinner meetings and speakers
- The satisfaction of knowing you are helping to preserve Shippensburg's history for future generations
