Shippensburg Historical Society

Intern with the Shippensburg Historical Society

College and High School students are invited to enrich their understanding of history through an internship at the Shippensburg Historical Society. College students can receive college credits and gain practical work experience in a museum setting. Interns may help care for the collections, offer tours, conduct research, help design exhibits, or help with the day-to-day work of running a local historical society. Interested students should be responsible, able to work independently, and enjoy history.

If you are interested, please discuss the internship requirements with your teacher or college advisor and return the internship information below to the Historical Society at info@shippensburghistory.org.
