Research in the Shippensburg Historical Society’s collections and docent-led tours of the Stewart House are available at the following times:

Researchers are encouraged to contact the Society ahead of time to discuss their specific needs and research interests. Groups wishing to visit the Historical Society should contact us before their visit in order to make arrangements.

Holiday Hours

The Shippensburg Historical Society will be closed for federal holidays.

Closing Policy

In the even of inclement weather, the Shippensburg Historical Society will follow the Shippensburg Area School District closing policy throughout the work week. The weekend policy will be at the discretion of the Docent Coordinator and President.
